In this clip, Ronda explains the real story behind Robert De Niro's "Cape Fear" tattoos. Ronda tells the story of her work on the Martin Scorsese film Cape Fear (1991), designing the tattoos for Robert De Niro.

In the business since 1992, Ronda has been around the world, tattooing all sorts of show business celebrities, supermodels, circus freaks, and gangsters. Some filling several of those roles at once! Tim Roth, David Blaine, Sarah Michelle Geller, Rod Stewart, and way too many others to mention were all her clients, as well as almost everyone in a NYC hardcore band! A fixture in the pre-legal world of tattooing, she worked at some of the most famous shops in early NYC. Eastside Ink, New York Hardcore Tattoo, Venus, and Sacred among them. A trip to Europe turned into a long stay that had her working at Peter Tattoo in Amsterdam, Alex Binnie’s Into You in London, England, Luke Atkinson‘s Checker Demon in Stuttgart, Germany, Claudio Pittan in Milan, Italy, & Mike Frey’s Tattoo You in Esslingen, Germany. Coming back to the United States, she ended up being the guest artist on tour with Ozzfest and tattooing many a band member. Accomplishments in the outside world including doing all the fake tattoos on Robert De Niro in Cape Fear, a full artificial bodysuit for an Absolut Vodka ad, and even more.
